HB Reavis Slovakia has a new CEO

HB Reavis, an international workspace provider, which is building a district of New Nivy in the centre of Bratislava, is appointing a new Chief Executive Officer in Slovakia. The newly appointed CEO is long-term member of the HB Reavis team and a member of the Board of Directors, Rene Popik. Stepping down from his CEO role, Adrian Rac will remain in HB Reavis Group and will continue to cooperate on key strategic projects. Adrian will also work on evolving the HB Reavis Foundation activities, particularly those supported by civic association The Good Place.

Rene Popik joined HB Reavis in 2007. As a board member of HB Reavis Poland, he played an important role in the business successes for this market. Since 2017 he has been a member of the HB Reavis Group Board of Directors, responsible for the Slovak and Polish markets, as well as for the Development Department within the HB Reavis Group. Prior to HB Reavis, Rene worked for the real estate developer Saller Group and acted as the Manager of shopping centre Galéria in Košice. René is a graduate of the University of Economics in Bratislava and holds an engineer’s degree (Ing.) in Business Management. He will lead a strong 150-member team during the exciting works on building a new district in Bratislava, New Nivy, which will bring a unique ecosystem to the city.

Together with a team of more than 150 professionals in Bratislava, we are facing an exciting challenge. We are building a new district, New Nivy, which will become the true heart of the city, thanks to a unique ecosystem of companies and communities. We are bringing to life the essence of our company mission by creating a coherent area where people and companies can interact in a thought-out space, designed for work, life and leisure.

says Rene Popik, new Chief Executive Officer of HB Reavis Slovakia.

Adrian Rac has been with HB Reavis for more than 20 years, developing business activities in Slovakia and the Czech Republic. He managed to successfully launch the construction works in the area of New Nivy that are bringing a new heart of the city to Bratislava.
In the district of Nové Nivy, apart from already existing projects like CBC and Twin City, we see the growth of multiple projects – a new bus station Stanica Nivy is gradually emerging which will, with its character, resemble an airport terminal. New Nivy will also include the office building Nivy Tower with a rooftop restaurant offering breath-taking views of Bratislava, where construction is well under way. Also under preparation is the project Mlynske Nivy Kosicka, which will become the centre of a technology startup community.
Under the new leadership HB Reavis Slovakia will continue making strides towards delivering their mission of creating truly exceptional office and retail spaces focusing on the experience of the people, supporting productivity and quality of life, with an emphasis on the surrounding communities.
