DSTRCT.Berlin has been certified by WiredScore Platinum. It has become a member of an exclusive group – only 3 buildings in Berlin hold this certification.

HB Reavis’ first German project, DSTRCT.Berlin, has been designed to sustain the highest standards set up by WiredScore, the international rating system for the digital infrastructure of commercial real estate.
Recently, it has obtained very rewarding news: WiredScore Platinum certification, only the third building in Berlin to do so!

What is WiredScore?
The WiredScore certification creates necessary transparency, provides access to important information about the digital infrastructure of a building and reviews the three central areas of connectivity, infrastructure and potential. Platinum is the certification for developments designed for "best-in-class" connectivity.
Some of the DSTCRCT.Berlin’s key features developed and evaluated under WiredScore:
- Vertical riser pathways: The building's vertical riser pathways have enough capacity for the tenants needs. On the tenant side, complete vertical fiber distribution is planned.
- WiFi: Free WLAN will be installed in the common areas.
- Telecommunication guideline: A telecommunication guideline which will provide essential information on the digital infrastructure of the building to tenants and telecommunication service providers.
- Backup power: A back-up power generator provides power to telecommunications equipment during power outages, thus preventing connectivity failures. Read more on these features in the attached document from WiredScore.
First occupiers coming along: STRATO and IONOS
Aside from great connectivity, DSTRCT.Berlin’s design is people-centric and focuses on health, wellbeing and productivity. Under the slogan Work.Eat.Meet it brings a unique mix to the market: the revitalised slaughterhouse on Landsberger Alle with a variety of lively places for social gatherings and dining,and the new office building.
The new workplace will offer a great mix of workspaces to support different types of work: quiet places for focused work, lush greenery in which to unwind or places to work with colleagues.
Biophilia and active design, together with Symbiosy, our tech and sensorics platform), underline the overall building experience and has already attracted its first occupiers: STRATO and IONOS.
At the moment, the HB Reavis project is WELL Pre-Certified. Once completed, it will aim for the WELL Building Standard (Gold) and DGNB (Gold).
